The conference aimed to complete policies, introduce technical infrastructures for water quality management as well as increasing the number of people having access to fresh water in line with the national standard.

Attendees at the conference discussed solutions for the project, including research on the completion of a legal frame work, mechanisms, policies, information and communication as well as improving management capability and control of water quality, strengthening infrastructures and providing equipment for the National Centre for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation.
