Man arrested for bringing Chinese nationals into Vietnam illegally

VOV.VN - The police of northern border Lang Son province said on March 31 they have arrested a Vietnamese man involved in a ring bringing five Chinese nationals into Hanoi illegally.

According to the police, while patrolling section KM21 in Loc Binh town of Loc Binh district, the police noticed a suspicious Toyota car traveling from Loc Binh town towards Lang Son.

Upon searching the vehicle, they found a Vietnamese driver and five Chinese nationals without any immigration documents.

At the police station, the driver, 38 from Hanoi, confessed that he was attempting to transport the five Chinese nationals to the capital.

The case is currently under further investigation.
