Major drug trafficking rings busted in Son La, Nghe An
VOV.VN -Police of Son La and Nghe An provinces have cracked two major drug trafficking rings, seizing nearly 1,000 pills of synthetic drug and 30 bricks of heroin.

On October 13, police in Son La province working with the Chieng Tuong and Chieng On border posts arrested Nguyen Van Hao, 38, for allegedly smuggling huge amounts of synthetic drugs.
Upon searching the suspect’s bag, police discovered nearly 1,000 pills of synthetic drug, more than 100 grams white powders, a motorbike, a mobile phone, and other related items.
The case is under further extensive investigation.
On October 15, police in Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province apprehended two suspects who were smuggling a large quantity of heroin.

The police force said the suspects’ activities have been under surveillance for a long time. As soon as the police received private information they arrived on National Highway 46 and caught Nguyen Ngoc Bich, 45 and Tran Dinh Hoi, 34 red-handed while they were transporting drugs from Thanh Thuy border gate to Vinh City for consumption.
Upon searching their car, police discovered 30 bricks of heroin and other incriminating evidence.
