Major cities battle congestion following five-day holiday

VOV.VN - After enjoying a five day holiday during National Reunification Day on April 30 and May Day on May 1, people have begun heading back to their homes in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, resulting in heavy traffic congestion on streets throughout the two major cities.

As the holiday period comes to an end, people head back to work on May 2.
Xe Om drivers take advantage of people returning to the city in Hanoi by parking around Giap Bat Station in the hope of picking up customers.
Bus stations up and down the country have been full of passengers carrying their luggage after returning home.
