Among the awardees who have made outstanding achievements in production, business, rural construction and development, there are nine women, five business managers and cooperative heads and 16 from the ethnic minority groups of Thai, Tay, Nung, MNong and San Diu.

The youngest is 19-year-old Pham Viet Dai from Trung Loc commune, Can Loc district in Ha Tinh province who earns an annual income of more than VND100,000 million from his farm complex.

Those farmers to be honoured this year have not only accrued wealth for themselves but also created stable jobs for 2,400 people and seasonal work for over 2,000 others.

Phan Dinh Phuc, General Director of the PetrolVietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Joint Stock Company expressed hope that the award will encourage young farmers to further advance their careers.
