Laos, Vietnam share mass mobilisation experience

VOV.VN - Officials of the Vietnamese Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation and the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) Central Committee have examined ways to boost mass mobilisation.

At an August 30 working session in Hanoi, both sides shared experience in carying out mass mobilisation activities in rural and ethnic minority areas and discussed measures to develop the work and bolster bilateral cooperation in the time ahead.

Politburo member Truong Thi Mai, head of the Vietnamese commission, highlighted the LFNC's visit as a contribution to reinforcing solidarity and amity between the two Parties, States and peoples, adding that Vietnam always treasures its time-honoured friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Laos.

Politburo member Saysomphone Phomvihane in turn said this is his first visit to a foreign nation in the post of Chairman of the LFNC Central Committee.

It is made after the official trip to Vietnam by General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President Bounnhang Vorachith last April and President Tran Dai Quang’s State visit to Laos three months later, he said.
