On behalf of the State, Party, people and particularly the women of Laos, General Secretary and President Sayasone addressed his thanks to the Party, the State, people and women of Vietnam for their valuable and effective assistance given to Laos over the past years.

He expressed his support for a cooperative plan between the Lao Women’s Union and the Vietnam Women Union, which is aimed at promoting the role and position the two countries’ women, particularly those living in border areas.
