Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs Hau praised the institute’s practical contributions to improving worker healthcare and labour efficiency while also reducing products’ costs and protecting the environment.
During the past 35 years, the institute has finalised 51 scientific subjects at the national level, 375 subjects at ministry, municipal and local levels in which 70 percent of research results have been applied in practical activities, helping increase labour efficiency and ensure better healthcare for workers, ultimately a driving force behind national development.
In order to reach the target of bringing all research projects to life, the institute needs to help its staff improve professional skills to meet increasing labour protection demands, Mrs Hau stressed.
On this occasion, VGCL Chairwoman Cu Thi Hau granted a Government Certificate of Merit to assistant Prof. Dr Le Van Trinh, Head of the NILP in recognition of his outstanding performance in scientific research and leadership.
