Dr. Tran Tan Tai of the Hospital of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University said this is the fifth time the non-profit organisation Global Care Foundation has worked in co-ordination with the hospital to implement the charity program to benefit children in Vietnam.
The program also offers a good venue for both Korean and Vietnamese doctors to come together and share experience in the medical field.
Currently over 100 children suffering from cleft lip or cleft palate in the nation’s central and central highlands regions have benefited from the program.
During the recent collaboration, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy co-operated with the Global Care Foundation to host a seminar sharing and updating information about the latest technologies available in plastic and maxillofacial surgery for patients with cleft lip and cleft palate.
