The south central province of Khanh Hoa has organised two training courses for health and tourism workers from the Lao province of Attapu.

During the courses, tourism workers were updated with knowledge about tourism, structure of tourism state management agencies, tourism planning, hotel business administration, hotel reception and room services.

They were also introduced to a number of ways to promote tourism by applying information technology, and increasing the state inspection of tourism activities, in addition to making field trips to major tourist sites such as Vinpearl Land, Yang Bay and Nha Phu.

Meanwhile, the Lao health workers were provided with basic knowledge about pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics, hydrocephalus, emergency aid, image diagnosis as well as methods to treat malaria, petechial fever and diabetes.
