Japan provides Quang Tri fishing vessels with 1,800 LED lights

Accordingly, 40 fishing vessels operated by local fishermen will be fitted with 1,800 LED lights with a value of more than US$3.4 million. During the installation process, Japanese experts will provide direct consultancy to improve the efficiency of the lighting systems.

The project to equip offshore fishing vessels with LED lights has received Japanese aid to cover 100% of the costs of outfitting the vessels, in the aim of helping fishermen to overcome difficulties at sea.

During the implementation of the project, the provincial Department of Science and Technology in coordination with Japanese experts and the Eternal Technology and Energy Joint Stock company have set forth strict technical requirements for the installation and operation of the lighting systems in compliance with the real situation in Vietnam.
