The three-year project, which will start in April 2010, is aimed at helping farmers to sell organic vegetables at the Binh An roadside station in Thang Binh district.

At the meeting with the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee on January 27, the Japanese experts coming from Chiba prefecture provided useful advice on planning for organic vegetable farming and production, transport, sales and marketing of farm products.

Vice Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Committee, Tran Minh Ca, said Quang Nam has set up some organic farming areas in the districts of Tam Ky and Duy Xuyen.
