In photos: 1,500 Can Tho youth enlist for army duty

VOV.VN - Nearly 1,500 adolescents from the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho were eager to sign up for military service at the handover-ceremony on March 3. 

A hand-over ceremony for new recruits was held in district 8/8 of Can Tho city on March 3.


This year, nearly 1,500 young people from Can Tho were enlisted.



Many local residents attended the ceremony to see-off ceremony the new cadets.

Military service in Vietnam is compulsory for Vietnamese males between the ages of 18 and 25.
