Huge fire rips through fiber workshop in Quang Ninh IP
VOV.VN - At 2:30am on April 4, a large fire broke out at a workshop of Texhong Fiber Company in Hai Yen Industrial Park in Mong Cai city, northern Quang Ninh province.

The fire sparks from its fiber warehouse which contains between 4,000 and 5,000 tons of materials and commodities. Fire fighters rushed to the scene immediately after the inferno is notified but failed to extinguish the blaze which has spread around, according to Mong Cai authorities. |

Nguyen Tien Dung, vice chairman of Mong Cai City People’s Committee says five fire engines, three excavators and the factory’s fire fighters are mobilized to combat the fire but up until 6:15am they could not control the flame. |

Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh province People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thanh is sent to the scene to direct the fire fighting forces. Up to now, no human losses have been reported. |

According to Mr Dung, fire brigade and responsible forces are trying to control the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring areas. |

The Cam Pha fire brigade is also mobilized to tackle the blaze. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. |
