The Hue Central Hospital’s cardio-vascular clinic funded by the East Meets West organization and the AP society of the US was inaugurated on March 6.

The cardio-vascular clinic, built at a cost of more than US$8.1 million, includes a six-storey building covering 12.500sq.m and comprising 200 beds, four operating theatres and other functional rooms with numerous modern facilities. It will provide high-quality healthcare services, particularly cardio-vascular treatment for people nationwide.

In 2003, the East Meets West organization donated more than US$1.7 million to help the Hue Central Hospital purchase medical equipment for cardio-vascular treatment at its obstetrics department.


The organization also plans to grant US$4 million to a project on upgrading facilities at the ophthalmologic department and training department of the Hue Central Hospital.
