The Hilton Hanoi Opera hotel on March 11 granted a charity gift worth US$2,300 to KOTO, a vocational training centre for street and disadvantaged children in Vietnam.

The hotel’s General Director Mark Deere hoped the gift, which included kitchen appliances, will assist the centre in their training work.

KOTO General Director Dian Cox expressed her thanks for the hotel’s support over the years and added that with the slogan “Know One Teach One”, KOTO has helped many disadvantaged children to overcome difficulties and find jobs.

The practice with modern equipment will provide students with opportunities to get used to the working conditions at four and five-star hotels like the Hilton Hanoi Opera, said Ms. Cox.

The Hilton Hanoi Opera has so far undertaken many charity activities to help the disadvantaged in Vietnam.
