High school informatics students win big at regional competition
VOV.VN - A Vietnamese team of 16 students won five silver and one bronze medal at this year’s Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2017, an online computer programming competition hosted by Australia.

It was a terrific opportunity for the students to practice their programming skills and compete with their peers in the region, said organizers at the University of Engineering and Technology and Vietnam National University in Hanoi.
The six medals were won by team members Nguyen Hy Hoai Lam, Pham Cao Nguyen, Nguyen Dinh Dai, Phan Minh Hoang, Nguyen Diep Xuan Quang and Nguyen Khan, said the organizers, noting that all 16 team members performed exceptionally at the event.
