Hosted by the HCM City Bar Association, the conference will serve as a chance for lawyers to share professional experiences and boost cooperative relations among regional countries and territories, organisers said on October 24.

At the conference, themed “Competition and Cooperation,” participants will present and discuss a range of issues such as environmental and labour laws, law education and legal assistance, the role of lawyers’ associations in the development of the bar, legal matters in the fields of energy, protection of personal information, intellectual property, immigration, and franchising.

Established in 1966, LAWASIA brings together under one-roof lawyers, jurists, lawyers’ associations and organisations. It currently has more than 1,500 members from 50 Asian and Pacific countries and territories.
