HCM City rolls out six new buses

We have a goal to run a first-class bus system in the city, they said. We're not close to that goal yet, but we're heading in the right direction. |

The new buses are yellow, quite a contrast from the other green buses of the city and each bus can carry up to 63 passengers. |

The bus fare is US$.54 (VND12,000) for rides up to and including 5km and US$.90 (VND20,000) for those over 5km. |

The buses meets all European emission standards. |

Each bus has automatic anti-jamming devices on its doors, an anti-slip floor, and large luggage spaces. |

There are special seats for pregnant women, elderly, children and for those with disabilities. |
