The adjustment will affect 8 urban districts, including Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Dong Da, Hai Ba Trung, Tay Ho, Cau Giay, Thanh Xuan, Ha Dong, Hoang Mai, Long Bien, and two rural districts Tu Liem and Thanh Tri.

Morning classes for high schools and colleges will begin at 7 am and afternoon sessions will end at 7 pm or later.

State office workers and students between kindergarten and junior high school will attend school from 8 am to 5 pm

Trading centres and other services, excluding financial and banking, will operate from 9 am to 7 pm.

Other groups, including factories and the military, will retain their current work hours.
