According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, cold air has affected areas throughout the north.

Local people feel the cold spell while travelling across blustery Long Bien Bridge.
The accompanied rain has made the cold spell even worse for local people.
The health of children and the elderly are a major concern during cold periods.
Taxi firms are busier than usual. Hanoians choose to call taxis or travel by bus rather than use motorbikes.
People wrap up in warm clothes to cope with the chilly conditions.
