On March 30, city leaders in Hanoi met with visiting leaders from Warsaw to learn of their experience managing land allotments and their novel approach to allocating families space for gardens to promote a healthier life style, among other things.
At the meeting, there was also much discussion about the fact that Vietnamese are the most numerous of any migrant community in Poland (or the former Soviet bloc) with an estimated population of 30,000.
Every year, Warsaw organizes numerous activities to strengthen cultural and economic development exchange and solidarity among Vietnamese and the many other ethnic minority groups in the city.
