Hanoi hosts first-ever Vietnamese truck driving tourney

The tournament, ASEAN International Trucks Invitational, is an opportunity to introduce this new and exciting sport to Vietnamese audiences, to help drivers from ASEAN countries exchange experience and ultimately to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam, said the event organiser.

Eight experienced drivers with a minimum requirement of 5-year truck driving experience from Vietnam, Singapore and Brunei will compete as four teams in categories that highlight safe and fuel-efficient driving.
