Hanoi: Death toll due to dengue reaches 6
VOV.VN - With one more death, the dengue toll in Hanoi since the beginning of the year went up to 6, a senior health official of the Central Tropical Diseases Hospital said on Tuesday, August 8.

The death count has now become 6 with the outbreak reaching a crisis point. The hallways at the Hospital have been turned into wards to cope with 1,000 new cases every day.
Nationwide the situation isn’t any better, said the official, with more than 71,000 cases of dengue fever reported year-to-date since January 1 and 19 deaths, making it the worst outbreak in recent years.
