The Director of the provincial Department of Education and Training, Nguyen Khac Hao, highlighted the improvement in the quality of education and training over the past few years, citing that now Ha Tinh had more than 8,650 students or 41 percent of school leavers being admitted to universities and colleges.

This year, the number of pupils passing their secondary school examinations reached 90 percent, up 16 percent from the previous year.

At the meeting, Nhan asked the provincial education and training sector to re-evaluate the quality of its teachers and re-examine standards in every school to increase the numbers of pupils that sit their secondary school examinations.

He also expressed hopes that Ha Tinh will make more progress in education and training to meet the Ministry of Education and Training’s requirements.
