The event attracted representatives from 30 members of the World Most Beautiful Bays Club.

At the conference, delegates discussed measures to control environmental pollution and proposed photo contests and drawing competitions for children to send their winning photos and pictures to international exhibitions in Yeosu, the Republic of Korea, in 2012.

Participants concentrated on increasing advertising images of the bays, strengthening education for sustainable development, and raising young people’s awareness of protecting their heritage.

The management board of Ha Long Bay also announced that Ha Long Bay has entered the third round of the New 7 natural Wonders Vote launched by the New Open World.
