Golf tourney marks Vietnam-Belgium ties
(VOV) - The Embassy of Vietnam in Belgium in co-ordination with Ternnesse Golf and Country Club in Anwerpt province organized the Ambassadors Golf Trophy tournament on June 15.
As many 140 golfers, including members of the club, Ambassadors of some ASEAN countries in Belgium and some Belgium businesses joined the event marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Belgium.
The Vietnamese, Cambodian and Thai Ambassadors won high prizes at the tournament.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium Pham Sanh Chau emphasized that the event was a good chance to advertise Vietnam’s land, people and food culture to Belgian and international friends.
He expressed hope that the friendship between Vietnam and Belgium will continue to grow and flourish.
