German House set to open in September

VOV.VN - The 25-storey German House in District 1 in the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City is set to open on September 5 aiming to enhance the connectivity between German businesses and other foreign partners in Vietnam.

During his inspection tour of  the project on August 30, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan praised the German Consulate General and business community in HCM City for boosting the relations between the two countries, including cooperation projects on vocational training and business promotion, and dialogue programmes.

German Consul General to HCM City Andeas Siegel said the German House symbolizes the Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership and friendship at present and in the future, noting that the project will help German enterprises boost links with partners from ASEAN.

He pledged to continue launching activities to intensify people-to-people and business exchanges in the coming time.

The 40,000 m2 house is expected to become a venue for Vietnamese and German businesspeople as well as European and ASEAN entrepreneurs.
