Earlier on August 26, the company also donated 60 cows to poor farmers in six different communes across Dam Rong District.
This year, 80 reproductive cows worth VND800 million were presented to disadvantaged farming households in eight communes in Dam Rong District.
The activity within the framework of the ‘Cow Bank’ project launched by FrieslandCampina Vietnam and Vietnam Red Cross Society is seen as a meaningful gift for such poor farming households when the celebration of the New Year Festival is coming near.
This is the sixth year FrieslandCampina Vietnam has realized the program with a desire to support needy farmers across the country and stimulate the development of local economic sectors towards building more new rural areas.
