French organisation sponsors IT training program
(VOV) - Fifty four poor Central and Central Highlands students have successfully completed an IT training programme funded by the French non-governmental organization Passerelles Numeriques.
The graduating students were presented with their certificates at a ceremony in the central city of Da Nang on October 19.
Their two-year training course also included English lessons and internship and volunteering opportunities at IT companies and non-governmental organisations.
According to Passerelles Numeriques’s statistics, 92 percent of graduating trainees have secured employment with stable incomes.
The organisation committed to continuing its training programme, assisting more disadvantaged youth from the Central and Central Highlands regions.
Passerelles Numeriques was founded in 2006 to offer as many disadvantaged youths as possible a chance to access IT training and future employment.
