Four injured in multi car pile-up on HCM City-Long Thanh Expressway

VOV.VN - Four people were injured and 10 automobiles were wrecked in a multi car pile-up as vehicles travelling in both directions on Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh Expressway lost their bearings in a thick cloud of smoke on April 3.

Local residents burning piles of grass beside the corridors of the expressway create huge plumes of smoke which seriously affect the drivers’ visibility.

Four cars, a container truck, and a tank truck collided with each other. Luckily, no fatalities were reported.

Two people in a mini-bus travelling from HCM City to Vung Tau were injured and taken to hospital.

The mini-bus was completely wrecked.

A Range Rover suffered damage from a frontal impact.

Four other cars were severely damaged in a collision.

A group of tourists, including foreigners, had to seek alternative travel arrangements due to the crash.

The accident caused many hours of traffic congestion on the HCM City-Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway.
