Foreigners in Da Nang vaccinated against COVID-19

VOV.VN - The central city of Da Nang has conducted COVID-19 vaccinations on both foreigners and overseas Vietnamese living in the central city in order to ensure that all residents have now been injected with at least one dose of the vaccine.

According to the director of the municipal Department of Foreign Affairs, there are  over 4,800 foreign citizens and overseas Vietnamese with different nationalities living in the central city.

Many of them, including those working at foreign consulates general, industrial parks, and non-governmental organisations, among others, have now been given their first inoculation.

As of August 30, the department’s hotlines received a total of 180 calls, emails, and texts from foreign nationals, mostly asking for assistance in order to purchase food, necessities, and medicines. There were also enquires about travelling to vaccination sites, making appointments related to health checkups and visa extensions, among other issues.

All of their requests were resolved in a timely manner, with prompt support given to them.
