Foreign students in Vietnam gather for Tet celebration event

An exchange programme for foreign students in Vietnam to celebrate Lunar New Year was held by the Vietnam Students Association on January 15 at Hanoi University.

The event, held for the first time, drew 252 representatives, including international students in Vietnam, Vietnamese students overseas and students in Hanoi.

It served as an exchange platform for Vietnamese and international students in Vietnam, fostering mutual understanding and promoting Vietnam’s image to the world, said Doan Hong Ha, Vice Chairman of the Association.

During the programme, participants experienced Vietnamese Lunar New Year through various activities such as making Chung cake, five fruit tray arranging competitions and calligraphy.

The event also featured traditional games and Vietnamese cuisine as well as musical performances.
