First Vietnamese woman reaches summit of Mount Everest

VOV.VN - Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha, also known as Céline Nha Nguyen, has become the first Vietnamese woman to conquer the summit of Mount Everest.

Nha is a member of Seven Summit Treks, an agency which organises expeditions to Nepal.

She successfully completed her climb of the peak of Mount Everest at 3:30 a.m. on May 16 (local time).

At present, Nha works a lawyer in Ho Chi Minh City.

In January this year she successfully conquered Mount Vinson, which stands at a height of 4,892 metres, the highest peak in Antarctica.
