The Thai Binh Department of Health announced on September 4 that a pupil of the Luong The Vinh Secondary school had tested positive for the A/H1N1 virus.
The school has 28 cases that are suspected to carry the virus. They have been quarantined and the school has had to delay the start of the new school year until next week.
The health department has set up mobile emergency hospitals to treat patients more quickly.
