The conference, which attracted odontological and stomatological professors, doctors and students from China, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam was aimed at developing regional collaboration in training dental experts for the Mekong Delta countries.

The 88 scientific reports presented at the conference focused on esthetic dentistry, odontological implantation, moulding teeth and dental diseases.

During the event, there were also exhibitions of advanced odontological equipment and materials, said doctor Truong Manh Dung, Acting Rector of Odonto-stomatology University.

“This is an opportunity to promote trade and investment cooperation in developing odontological and stomatological science and technology, and to introduce Vietnam’s achievements in dental science to the international community”, Mr. Dung added.

The conference will run until October 16.
