An exhibition of fine art works inspired by the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) will be held at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum from January 29- February 7 to mark the 80th anniversary of the CPV.

Seven sculptural works and more than 40 paintings and graphic works in lacquer, oil-paint and silk depict the revolutionary ardour and working spirit of people of all social strata during the resistance wars against the French and US invaders. These fine art works also highlight the tremendous achievements in the cause of national defence and construction.

The exhibition is part of activities marking the 120th birthday of late President Ho Chi Minh and responds to the “Study and follow late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” campaign.

Meanwhile, an exhibition of traditional musical instruments of Vietnam’s ethnic minority groups will take place from January 29- February 3 at the Culture and Arts Exhibition Centre to mark the CPV’s establishment in the lead up to the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
