Contestants should write about individuals or organisations, which have used energy in safe and effective ways or have had practical initiatives on saving energy, or those who have wasted energy and caused a negative effect on sustainable economic and environmental development.

They can also propose managerial and technical solutions to save energy in production and consumption and new ways to develop public transport.

Writing works should be in form of articles (prior publications acceptable) written from January 1-Ocotber 31, 2010.

Winners of the special prize will receive VND15 million, a first prize of VND10 million, a second prize VND5 million and a third prize of VND3 million long with a consolation prize of VND1 million.

Works should be sent to the editorial department of Radio the Voice of Vietnam, 58 Quan Su Street, Hanoi.
