The provincial People’s Committee received the two projects on March 3.

The EMW-funded project to build the Quang Vinh Primary School 2 in Quang Vinh commune, Quang Dien district, has a total investment capital of over VND1 billion, of which VND820 million will be provided by the US-based non-governmental organisation.

The project will build five new classrooms, restrooms and a modern water filter and upgrade the campus of the school.

Meanwhile, the Poitou-Charentes region will provide EUR50,000 to upgrade the Van An Primary School in Huong Tra district’s Huong Phong commune and provide 900 poor students aged from six to 15 in the province with EUR20 each.
