Speaking at a conference in HCM City on January 22 to review emulation and rewards activities for 2009, Mrs Doan praised last year’s achievements and called on all sectors and localities to make a greater effort to stabilise the national economy, promote international cooperation and ensure social welfare and national security.

In 2010, role model campaigns should be closely linked to big national anniversaries, grassroots-level Party congresses and the campaign to “Study and Follow the late President Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Examples”, said Mrs Doan.

Vice Chairwoman of the Central Emulation and Rewards Council Tran Thi Ha briefed the conference on major role model campaigns and their results. In 2009, more than 15,900 ministries and sectors were rewarded.
