Earth Hour 2025 campaign to promote green transition
VOV.VN - Hanoi will launch its Earth Hour 2025 campaign on March 22, aiming to raise public awareness about energy conservation, environmental protection, and the nationwide transition to sustainable energy.

Under the theme "Green Transition – Green Future," the event will feature a range of activities in response to Earth Hour, including an exhibition showcasing cutting-edge technologies and products from organizations and enterprises in the clean energy and environmental sectors. Other highlights include a flash mob dance, art performances, and a call for communities and businesses to switch off lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in an interactive cycling experience, demonstrating how clean energy is generated. By pedaling on specially designed bicycles, participants can charge their phones and illuminate LED panels displaying the event’s slogan.
More than just an awareness campaign, Earth Hour 2025 serves as a platform for community engagement, inspiring concrete actions for a greener and more sustainable future.
Organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Earth Hour is the world's largest grassroots environmental movement, with participation from around 7,000 cities across 172 countries and territories.
Vietnam first joined Earth Hour in 2009. Over the past 15 years, public awareness of energy conservation, environmental protection, and climate action has grown significantly, contributing to nationwide sustainability efforts.
