The accident happened at 16:00 at an intersection between Vo Chi Cong and Xuan La road, a place with heavy traffic at rush hours.

All the injured were immediately taken to hospital for medical examination and emergency treatment, said Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, head of the Tay Ho District administration.

Among them, two were seriously injured, including a child, he added.

More than 10 motorbikes were damaged at the site.
