Dong Nai, RoK step up human training cooperation
(VOV) - On January 12, representatives from the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s KyungSung University and the Hwasung Vina Company worked with authorities from the southern province of Dong Nai on how to step up human resources training for local enterprises.
The RoK has poured US$5 billion into 313 projects in Dong Nai making it rank second among investors in the locality, said Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh, adding that the effective operations of these projects have contributed significantly to the local socio-economic development.
Vinh called on the RoK university to run relevant training programmes for local students to provide high-quality workers for local businesses while citing that the ongoing Long Thanh international airport project in Long Thanh district, once completed, will create jobs for about 20,000 local people.
Director of the university Kim Taioun in turn affirmed his university's willingness to cooperate with the province in human resources training.
