Danang to organize Barefoot Run 2015-2016
(VOV) - About 5,000 non-professional runners who are local people, and domestic and international tourists will take part in Danang Barefoot Run 2015-2016 scheduled for December 6 on Bien Dong Park beach in Danang city.

The run will be held on three segments of 2km, 5km and 10km on the beach through Hoang Sa, Vo Nguyen Giap and Truong Sa streets. |

The event, the first of its kind, aims to promote tourism and physical training, and prepare for upcoming Clipper Race 2015-2016 and the fifth ASIAN Beach Games (ABG 5). |

Activities to protect the sea environment will also be held. On that occasion, Green Viet Community Organization will mobilize volunteers to clean beaches. |

An art performance will take place at Bien Dong Park at 7pm on December 5. |
