Dak Lak: reburial for remains of fallen soldiers found in Cambodia
A ceremony was held at a martyr cemetery in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on May 11 to rebury the remains of 15 Vietnamese voluntary soldiers and experts who died in the Cambodian battlefield during wartime.
Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee H’Yim Kdok said that the search for and reburial of remains of Vietnamese soldiers and experts who laid down their lives in Cambodia reflect the great gratitude for the martyrs as well as meet the wish of their families.
Since 2001, the Squad 51found and repatriated 626 sets of remains of Vietnamese soldiers and experts from Cambodia.
