Czech-Vietnamese runner-up of Miss Czech Republic
(VOV) - Czech-Vietnamese Monika Leová is the first Asian to have won a distinguished prize in the national beauty pageant Miss Czech Republic.
She is studying at the science, technology, and statistics faculty of the University of Economics in Prague.
The final round of the pageant was held at Karlin Prague theatre. |

The final decision of the jury was based on SMSs from television viewers.
As a result, Miss Czech Republic Gabriela Kratochvilova (22) will attend the Miss Universe pageant, while first runner-up Lucie Kovandova (18) and second runner-up Monika Leová (22) will take part in the Miss World and Miss Earth events, respectively.
