Addressing the exchange, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong highlighted the special solidarity and friendship between the two peoples.
Leaders of the two Parties and States regularly call on their people and representatives to strengthen solidarity and provide mutual support for each other on all fields.
The diplomat said the special friendship between the two countries will continue to grow and flourish through effective cooperation between their agencies.
Lao Ambassador Viroth Sundara in turn said he hopes the solidarity between the two countries will be further promoted and closely followed by later generations.
At the exchange, staff of the two embassies presented art performances and took part in friendship table tennis matches.
