VOV.VN - Thousands of pilgrims and tourists throughout the country flocked to Huong (Perfume) Pagoda before the opening day - the sixth day of Lunar New Year (February 2) to pray for peace, good weather, happiness and prosperity during the year.

The Huong Pagoda Festival, the largest in Vietnam, lasts for three months.

Yen stream is overcrowded with visitors and boats.

More than 40,000 people came to Huong pagoda on the fifth day of Lunar New Year (February 1).

Fast-food shops are set up along the stream leading to the main pagoda.

Love duet and reform theatre artists perform along Yen Stream.

Visitors offer incenses at Trinh Temple, the first stopover during a journey to Huong Pagoda. My Duc District People’s Committee says Huong Pagoda Festival attracted 1.4 pilgrims and visitors last year and expected to welcome roughly 1.3-1.5 million this year.
