Cross border drug ring busted in Thanh Hoa
VOV.VN -A drug trafficking ring that operated across the borders of Laos and Vietnam has been successfully broken up. This follows an operation involving border guards from Thanh Hoa province and their counterparts in Laos.

At the scene, the police forces were able to seize 12,000 pills of synthetic drugs, 180 bullets, two kg of gunpowder, a motorbike, and two mobile phones.
Once at the police station, Chang admitted to purchasing the drugs and weapons in Samnua district before transporting them to Viengxay district. There he planned to move the paraphernalia to Vietnam where he was to sell them.
The case is currently being investigated further by authorities.
