Court sentences two drug dealers to death
(VOV) -The People’s Court of Nghe An province on August 28 sentenced to death two persons involved in a transnational drug traffick ring.
They are Nguyen Trong Tuan (42) and Xong No Cha (34).
Three others receiving life imprisonment are Pham Thi Lieu (42) Tran Van Tu (31) and Nhua Xong (24) of Lao nationality.
According to the indictment, between October and December, 2012, these people smuggled 208 cakes of heroin weighing 72.8 kg and 321 methamphetamine pills from Laos to Vietnam. The drugs were then sold in China and other countries.
Ha No Chua of Lao nationality, who sold heroin to Vietnamese dealers, is wanted by Interpol for further investigation.
